After his already famous StickFish, Romain ‘Fishloose’ Maudet presents his personal version of fishing lead head!
Some imagination, a pen, wood, wire, Bricoleurre mould paste and activator, lead, and it’s done!
Here are the details of this very beautiful craft work to show you how to make original, beautiful and very efficient fishing lead heads!
Step #1: Romain imagines and draws his fishing lead head:
Step #2: rough cutting of the wooden form:
Step #3: fine sanding of the form:
Step #4: cutting and filing of the base of the form (mind your fingers!):
Step #5: manufacturing and fine positioning of the three metal holders:
Step #6: confection of the moulding paste (Bricoleurre mould paste and activator):
Step #7: moulding of the form + swivel and piercing of the lower face of the mould (once dried, 4 points):
Step #8: sanding for flattening the lower face (with holes) of the mould:
Step #9: the upper face of the mould is positioned and dries on the wooden form + swivel inserted in the lower face of the mould:
Step #10: engraving of casting ducts on the lower face (one big and three small ducts):
Step #11: positioning of the 3 metal holders (on the lower and/or upper face):
Step #12: lead casting and demolding:
Step #13: the lead excess is removed, two eyes, two key rings and one palette…
There, all done!!!
