For Damir Golubovic and Marijan Todorovic from Knjazevac, a little city placed on east side of Serbia, fishing is something more than hobby, inexhaustible source of energy, from which they got a genious idea of product called “Cricket lure” or in Serbian language: “Varalica Popac“.
Knjazevac is a small serbian city which is located between two rivers called “Svrljiski” and “Trgoviski timok“.
From predators in this place they can find chub and trout. Since they were kids they used to spend their free time fishing at “Timok“, and that passion didn’t left them until today. So they started creating the project I mentioned:
The “Cricket lure”
In the world of cricket there is a lot of crickets created with natural or artificial material that are loyal copies of insects. Since cricket is a widespread insect in whole world, no one came on idea of creating “Cricket lure”. Cricket lure is handwork. It’s created of balsa with a lot of realistic details, which get attention of a lot of predators like chub, trout, perch, bass, pike and others. Cricket is a floating lure sized 2.6 cm (1 inch), weight 2g (0.07 oz) and 3.3 cm, weight 3 gr with immersion depth of 0.8 m.
